Ahiflower oil is a unique, proprietary dietary oil from seeds of the plant buglossoides arvensis. Ahiflower oil is a rich, effective combined omega-3 and -6 fatty acid source from a single, non-GMO plant. Ahiflower oil contains the highest naturally-occuring stearidonic acid (SDA) of any commercially available PUFA-rich oil. Ahiflower oil also contains significantly high levels of gamma linolenic acid (GLA). Ahiflower oil converts to EPA in the body up to four times more efficiently than flaxseed oil.
