Soft Gel Technologies, Inc. ® (SGTI) is an experienced, full-service, GMP-certified contract manufacturer, specializing in providing marketers with premium quality dietary supplements in a soft gelatin capsule delivery system. Since 1995, we have been dedicated to the production and marketing of branded products and turnkey custom formulations exclusively to the nutraceutical industry.  We offer customers the full-spectrum package of manufacturing—sourcing, formulation, and softgel encapsulation services. We have the capacity to meet high volume demands as well as accommodate smaller jobs in a reliable manner.

We currently maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certifications through NSF’s Dietary Supplement Certification program and the Natural Products Association (NPA) and have held these certifications for many years prior to the emergence of the FDA GMPs.  We have also gone an extra step and are certified through NSF’s Athletic Banned Substances program, also known as GMP for Sport™, which means that our products will not contain any ingredients that might be of concern to professional athletes with regard to drug testing.

We have access to a portfolio of unique ingredients from around the globe.  Additionally, we have a strong network of ingredient suppliers, which enables us to offer faster turnaround times for formulation quotes and finished goods, and can often help us to obtain better pricing for our customers.

We are committed to providing high value-added products.  An array of proprietary technologies have been developed, several of which were awarded U.S. patents for significant breakthroughs in the area of nutrient bioavailability.  These formulation and production methods allow our products to deliver a more effective dose of key ingredients.  We protect our brands with intellectual property by developing proprietary formulations that cannot be copied.

We support our exclusive trademarked products through clinical studies, extensive marketing and educational efforts.  We are committed to helping customers effectively communicate the benefits of our products and be a reputable source of information.

Super absorption Coenzyme Q.sub.10
An improved soft gelatin formulation and process methodology that increases single Coenzyme Q.sub.10 molecules presented to the absorption channels of the small intestines by providing medium chain triglycerides, Vitamin E and natural beta carotene to Coenzyme Q.sub.10 in a soft gel capsule to increase the absorption thereof.
Patent Number: 7,273,622 | Patent Date: 09/25/2007
Solubilized CoQ-10 and carnitine
The present invention is directed to compositions and methods of delivery of CoQ-10 and an amino acid solubilized in monoterpenes. Use of monoterpenes as dissolving agents, greatly effects the ability to incorporate greater amounts of bioactive CoQ-10 and the amino acid, such as carnitine, i.e., carnitine tartrate, in formulations, such as soft gel capsules.
Patent Number: 7,273,606 | Patent Date: 09/25/2007
Coenzyme Q10 formulation and process methodology for soft gel capsules manufacturing
A formulation of Coenzyme Q.sub.10, beta-carotenes, Vitamin E, and medium chain triglycerides in rice bran oil and an optional thickener, such as bee's wax, is provided in a soft gel capsule so that a maximum of the Coenzyme Q.sub.10 is absorbed by the human body. Generally, about 60 mg of Coenzyme Q.sub.10 is the normal amount provided daily to a healthy sedentary adult.

Formulation to enhance antioxidant potency of Vitamin E
A formulation to deliver a full-spectrum of Vitamin E isomers for improved antioxidant capacity, bioavailability, dissolution and efficacy. The formulation includes dl-.alpha.-tocopheryl acetate or dl-.alpha.-tocopheryl succinate (synthetic Vitamin E), natural Vitamin E and mixed tocopherols, such as .alpha.-, .beta.-, .gamma.- and .delta.-tocopherol, as well as four isomers (.alpha., .beta., .gamma. and .delta.) of tocotrienols. This formulation is designed to deliver at least 17-times the antioxidant capacity of synthetic Vitamin E (dl-.alpha.-tocopheryl acetate), and at least twice the antioxidant capacity of natural Vitamin E (d-.alpha.-tocopherol) as measured by oxygen radical absorbance capacity (ORAC) assay. The potent antioxidant capacity of this formula affords protection against oxidative damage of cell membranes, heart disease, cancer and eye and skin disease.
