Beta-glucans comparison
There are different beta glucans on the market with yeast, oats and medicinal fungi being the most common sources. Oat beta glucan has very low immune boosting effects, but comparison of activity of beta-glucan of yeast and mushroom is very difficult because yeast beta-glucan products are particulate and mushroom’s are soluble.
For most reliable test to bear any relevance to the actual use of the products, is animal test or clinical trial in the in the environment in which they will be used.
