Chrysanthemum morifolium has been used as traditional herbs for more than 1600 years in Asia. AActive compounds (e.g. flavonoids) extracted from chrysanthemum stems and leaves are found more than from flowers, composed by water soluble and insoluble fractions. The extracts are tested in animal models with promising results.
