CP100-S Steamed Chickpea Flour
Steamed Chickpea Flour (CP100-S) is made with a proprietary steaming process that stabilizes the flour, eliminates the raw ‘beany’ flavor, and results in a very nice flour that can be used at high inclusion rates as the primary flour or to increase protein or fiber in many baked products and snacks. The excellent functionality of CP100-S as a flour has surprised us, as we have spent the last year doing applications work on everything from brownies and muffins to instant hummus and even chickpea milk. The flavor is very mild and pleasant, compared with other raw chickpea flour products available in the market. At 18% protein, CP100-S is a great way to boost the amount of plant-based proteins in your product.
