CUTTING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY EGT is prepared by submerged fermentation technology using mycelia of mushroom. Fermented broth is treated by solid-liquid separation, extraction enrichment and membrane filtration methods. Pure EGT is obtained by column chromatography and crystallization. The technology was developed by Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology (TIB) of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Without organic solvents except for ethanol, the materials and reagents are food/pharmcy grade to ensure the product safety.
