Odorless, slightly sweet taste. Melting point ~ 245 ℃ (decomposition). No optical rotation. More stable chemical properties. Dissolved in water (20.1g / 100ml, 25 ℃), the water sweet and refreshing. Hardly soluble in methanol, ethanol (0.07g / 100ml, 25 ℃), acetone and so on. The physiological utility of DL-threonine is one-half L-threonine. Lack of easily lead to loss of appetite and fatty liver embolism. Uses: Nutritional supplements.
