Ecklonia Cava
Ecklonia Cava A rare brown algae native to the North Pacific waters off the coast of South Korea and Japan. This “superfood” has proven to be one of the most extraordinary antioxidants ever discovered. It has undergone $39 million worth of clinical studies that confirm it has nearly 100 times the free-radical fighting power of nearly every land-based antioxidant. Benefits An effective antioxidant that lowers LDL Cholesterol and Triglyceride levels. Ecklonia Cava has a higher Oxygen Radical Absorbent Capacity (ORAC) than spinach, blueberries, and popular antioxidant supplements. Well-known “health foods” have ORAC scores in the hundreds to low thousands, with higher numbers representing greater antioxidant content. The ORAC scores of some common healthy foods and supplements are as follows: red grapes (739), oranges (750), spinach (1,260), blueberries (2,400), Resveratrol (791), Tocotrienols (1,059). However, Ecklonia Cava has an incredible score of 8,368. Studies show that it can also increase stamina, endurance, and promote arterial health. See Research for more information.
