LiquaDry Grasses
Alfalfa, Wheat, Barley and Oats LiquaDry’s grasses are organically grown in the rich soils of Millard County, Utah, U.S.A. Millard County was once part of an ancient seabed. The sediment deposited from this body of water, combined with an evaporating runoff from a watershed of millions of acres of wilderness has created a deep, rich soil base full of minerals and nutrients. The plants are grown and harvested from this wholesome soil. The young grass plants are harvested at the peak of their nutritional value, just before the jointing stage. The jointing stage is when the tissue of the grass leaf begins to form a stem. The chlorophyll, protein, and vitamin content declines rapidly after the jointing stage as the cellulose levels increase to form a mature, seed bearing plant. This makes it imperative to harvest the grass before the jointing occurs. LiquaDry conducts several tests on the young plants throughout the growing season to determine the best time to harvest. This ensures a grass product that is at its peak nutritionally and is the most beneficial as a supplement. Alfalfa and Cereal Grasses have a nutritional profile similar to spinach and other dark leafy green vegetables. They are naturally high in vitamins, enzymes, chlorophyll, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, beta-carotene and other antioxidants. After the grass is gently harvested, it is immediately transported to the facility, juiced and quickly processed to a dry powder.
