PALMERA Fatty Acids

PALMERA Fatty Acids are produced in accordance with the required demands and quality standards such as HALAL, KOSHER, GMP and HACCP – making them suitable for foods, pharmaceuticals, and personal care applocatios. It can be used as-is, or as a derivative. ​

PALMERA Fatty Acids are available in distilled and fractionated forms, ranging from short chains to long chains. The eco-friendly PALMERA Fatty Acids offer various compositions that allows formulators to easily create natural, cost-effective products of distinct quality to fulfill the unique needs and demands of the 21st century consumers.  

Foods and food packaging use fatty acids and fatty acid esters as emulsifiers, defoaming agents, stabilisers, surface active agents, lubricants and plasticisers. In foods themselves they find application in ice creams, bakery products as so called shortening extenders, candy and chewing gums, shortenings and margarine. 

Many bland and soothing preparations for personal use obtain their body and "feel" from characteristics inherent in the fatty acid chains present. Almost any desired level of oiliness, waxiness or moistness may be achieved by the balance of the acids used. Stearic Acid in the grade suitable for pharmaceutical and edible products, and meeting USP requirements, is notable for its white color, mild odor and high stability.
