• Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) is a water-soluble polymer derived from wood and/or cotton cellulose. CMC can be used as an emulsifier and thickener, while providing additional fiber content.

• Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC) is a gelling, binding, and thickening agent derived from cellulose.

• Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) is derived from cellulose used as an emulsifier, thickening, and suspending agent. HPMC is an alternative to animal gelatin. In tablet and capsule formulation, can be used for controlled time release. It can also be used as a binder and in tablet coatings.

• Glucosamine (Sulfate and Hydrochloride) is a naturally occurring chemical compound in the body, derived from the shells of shellfish, or can also be made synthetically. Glucosamine contributes to cartilage formation and joint lubrication.
