SPRAY ENTERIC COATING
Some tablets, capsules, and softgels require a barrier coating to be applied to allow for additional time and better absorption in another part of the digestion system. A spray enteric coating is often used to bypass absorption in the stomach of products which may cause irritation or undesired side effects. For example, the reflux caused by fish oil in some individuals can be offset through a barrier application.
There are different mediums available for spray enteric coating and additional manufacturing techniques which can be utilized to create a barrier, please contact us to determine which process and application would be most appropriate for your product.
